Territory Manager
Maskinen, a leader in forestry equipment, is seeking a Territory Manager for the dynamic region of Abitibi and Northeastern Ontario.
In this territory, opportunities grow as abundantly as the trees.
You’ll face challenges to overcome, develop clients, and earn commissions.
You’ll be on the road, at the heart of the action, meeting passionate customers throughout a territory where your impact is significant.
Because we know that great results come from hard work, we ensure your efforts are well rewarded :
- A guaranteed salary of $82,500 in your first year, with the potential to earn more based on performance ;
- Group insurance paid 50% by the employer, including dental coverage, plus a 2% RRSP contribution ;
- Vacation entitlement based on experience, plus 5 floating days off ;
- All necessary equipment provided: cell phone, laptop, workwear, and a company vehicle — a Ford F-150.
Like the strongest tree in the forest, you will build solid, lasting relationships of trust with your clients. Other challenges also await you:
- Develop your territory by identifying new business opportunities ;
- Visit current and potential clients to understand their needs and offer Maskinen solutions ;
- Present the product trio: head, harvester, and forwarder ;
- Keep your product knowledge current through internal training and close collaboration with the technical team ;
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity in your territory ;
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
This is an autonomous, mobile, and strategic role where your discipline and organizational skills will make all the difference. To succeed at Maskinen, you will need:
- Experience in sales representation, preferably within a technical, industrial, or forestry sector ;
- Autonomy, discipline, and an entrepreneurial mindset — you are accountable for your territory, clients, and their satisfaction ;
- Drive and passion — you are self-motivated, comfortable on the road, and value outstanding customer service ;
- Interest in forestry, mechanics, or specialized equipment — we sell technical products, so curiosity is an asset ;
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory to serve your clientele.
